Tuesday, November 22, 2011 - Fortunately, sourced 2 more of these so now can enjoy tracking this wine through time. Tonight's bottle open about 2 hours. Shows similarly to the bottle six months ago with the same strawberry and now some cherry, which even shows well at room temp. This time, the forest floor notes, along with some graphite/metal shaving notes, are quite present in the aromatics and the palate. Terrific acidity and vibrant, ths wine is hanging right in there, tasting great still and with lots of life left to go. I think another 2-3 years....delicious.
