Sunday, December 4, 2011 - This wine is still a beast that needs more cellar time. Inky purple. Black cherry nose. Huge palate still dominated by dusty tannin. Brooding background flavors promise a payoff for those who are a little more patient. This youngster has lots of dark fruit, especially cherry. I will wait at least two years before I open another. Lots of upside potential here.
