Wednesday, January 11, 2012 - Mute nose. Very mature feel on the palate - on the wrong side of the hill. Very clipped fruit. Maybe a hint of aple. Still a bit of sweetness lingering. Not particularly distinguished. Drinkable, but it's neither got the charm of a young Gutsriesling, not the elegance of a mature riesling, just starting to feel a bit clapped out.
