Mute nose. Very mature feel on the palate - on the wrong side of the hill. Very clipped fruit. Maybe a hint of aple. Still a bit of sweetness lingering. Not particularly distinguished. Drinkable, but it's neither got the charm of a young Gutsriesling, not the elegance of a mature riesling, just starting to feel a bit clapped out.

A very, very perfumed, rather soapy apple/crab apple and blossom nose. Fragrant, slightly confected palate. A touch sweet. Absolutely fine, though hardly earth shattering. A good Gutsriesling. Very Good.

Greenish pale gold. Rather dumb waxy nose. Very malic. High acidity, finishing with richness and a bit of creaminess. Good. Seems to be preparing for a year or two's snooze to me.

9% (AP Nr. 3 511 083 8 02) Very pale, watery lemony straw. Mineral driven nose - slatey with paraffin notes. No creaminess, no apples, no waxiness (such as one might expect to find in such a wine). Light vibrant attack. Very clean and crisp. Good fruit. Quite austere, but full-flavoured. Very good length. Very Good Indeed.

AP 3 551 083 8 02 9% abv Pale to mid straw with a slight green tinge. Creamy peachy nose. Nice rich attack. Quite full, with good ripe fruit. Rcih and full on middle. Decent length, but a bit undistinguished on the finish. OK to Good.
