Friday, February 24, 2012 - The Verticals at La Paulee de San Francisco (Westin St. Francis - San Francisco CA): Putting aside the first taste poured from a flawed bottle, the second taste from a different bottle showed apple and pear on nose with classic roasted hazelnut. Same fruit, slightly more ripe on palate, with good spice and balance. Modest acidity, but a very inviting and forward 2007.
