The nose is delicate, but pleasant, showing green apples, yeast, and a very slight rubbery overtone. It is quite mineral-driven on the palate, with slate and a slightly metallic edge over more of that tart apple, some under-ripe pear and just a squeeze of lemon. It has a medium-long finish, which I find somewhat surprising for a Cava in the $14 range. This is a really nice wine at that price.
