Friday, March 30, 2012 - Opened and poured, this wine gave a very good to excellent showing. The wine displays aromatics of spice, red berries and floral notes. The color is a youthful medium to dark ruby. The medium bodied palate shows richness and balance. The wine finishes with somewhat rustic tannins and good acidity with that wavers between short and medium in length. This drinks well now and if it can develop more complexity and harmony the wine could give an outstanding showing.
