Sunday, April 8, 2012 - On closeout at $16. The 25% syrah adds to its body and acidity with fruit and cocoa on the nose. The tannins and oak are present and compliment the meaty flavor with vanilla and mint undertones. It is showing a little wear on its age as it lost some of its luster on day two. A really enjoyable wine and the second Hedges product that I have enjoyed. Would love to try some more!
