Thursday, May 17, 2012 - Named after thier first winemaker in sometime really long ago. They are all the way in the south of Alsace because they really enjoy the rainshadow from the Voges. Which gives them the fruity wines. Spicy and exotic in the nose and then some grassiness, palate again a little bit less than precise, fits in to the "fruity" catergory nicely. Well done at $19.99, wish it was cheaper. "Gris is more off-dry"
