Saturday, May 26, 2012 - The nose was amazingly young, vibrant and constantly changing. It opened up with aromas of cherry pip smoke, sweet cream and floral notes. As time passed it started to take on notes of dried coca and classic fruitcake. On the palate, it was silky and refined with intense blackberry fruits, tart plum and minerals. Tart red fruits and blackberry lingered on the finish. This wine seemed almost impossibly young yet there was no reason to doubt its authenticity.
