Friday, July 27, 2012 - A bit reserved on nose, aromas of candied dry red cherry and some sous bois, 15 min decant brings out some round sweet and very smooth flavors. Nice pinot texture here and a slight bitter orange peel on the finish which gives it a good finish. Was going to decant this for longer but this is going back into the bottle to be enjoyed with the Olympic opening ceremony -will go great with first round of appetizers. I see no upside in further aging.
