Monday, August 20, 2012 - 2007 Brunello and Super-Tuscan Tasting (Caro's Wines, Auckland, New Zealand): light ruby, some bricking at the edge. Toasted oak on the nose along saw dust, tobacco, Indian spice and sweet red fruits. Fine grained tannins contribute to a smooth texture. Lingering a dry finish. An outstanding modern styled Brunello.
