Tuesday, August 28, 2012 - A five hectare estate. Produced from 100% Merlot, with limited oak aging (3-6 months according to the vintage), 13.5% ABV. Good intense purple colour; good ripe Merlot fruit, still a bit tight of course but the tannins seem ripe, there is a gravelly minerality and a slightly medicinal touch adds interest. Should drink well in a year or two.
