Sunday, October 14, 2012 - Subtle nose. Notes of forest floor, vanilla, plum, and black cherry with hints of oak. Big wine. Plenty of tannins, acidity, fruits and alcohol. Full-bodied with good structure. Tannins are prominent at the moment, a little rough. Very dry aftertaste and long finish with slight heat at the end. Label indicated 14.6% alcohol level. Higher acidity level than a lot of Bordeuax 2009 I have tasted so far. Have to wait for a few more years to approach the wine. Showing better on 2nd day. Good nose, aromatic and focus notes of sweet vanilla and dark fruits. Smoother tannins with slight sour and dry aftertaste. Upgrade the score. 90-93 pts
