Monday, December 3, 2012 - The Camille Saves rose will always have a place in my stash of champagne. It is not the most complex rose, but it is just flat out delicious. It is a deep pink color in the glass with strawberry notes on the nose. On the palate this is delicate and precise with a nice balance between the fruit and minerals. I got flavors of raspberries, strawberries, red apples, bright citrus, and crushed rocks this time. This champagne is most comfortable being consumed outside on a warn summer afternoon. The Camille Saves is one of those rose champagnes that is almost impossible not to like.
