Tuesday, December 18, 2012 - Confused. Don't have much history with Forey but this is either closing down or over-extraceted. I lean towards closing down because the nose is not what I had hoped for. Palate is tannic and rich. Fruit there for sure but not nearly to the level of a lot of modern Burgundy producers (Groffier and Daniel Rion come to mind) and the structure and noticeable wood are there too. This may be back to work in 5 years or I may just not like Regis Forey's wines. Hard to tell this minute. Came from 375
