Sunday, January 13, 2013 - A big bold wine. Surprised at the earthy aroma; didn't expect this from a zin blend. Paired OK with sirloin, but this wine needs a big food, perhaps a meat pasta or game. Was OK, but was a little disappointed that it was a bigger wine than I anticipated. Will match with a different food next time.
