Friday, September 14, 2012 - Black currant nose - almost raisiny; a whiff of smoke. Still a bit tight, but nicely balanced with fine acidity and a sweet, ripe, black fruit core of blackberries, currants, black cherries, black plum, and cassis, Secondary notes of tar, graphite, and black tea. A touch of rosemary laces the coffee finish. Good length.
