Classic Village composition of strawberries, cherries, and spices bolstered by good acidity and peppery complexity. A touch singed on the fruity finish. This is exactly what Village level Beaujolais should taste like.

Attractive notes of mixed red berries, black raspberries, violets, and white pepper. A touch of cigar box. Full bodied, firmly structured, but loosens up with air, turning juicier and broader, picking up ash on the tightly wound finish. Very nice but I think this would have been even better had we given it a couple of hours in the decanter.

Brooding dark fruit backed by mixed spices, asphalt, and a kiss of bitters. Dry, nicely structured, with a pliant texture, firm tannin, and just enough of everything to make this a solid wine.
