Friday, February 1, 2013 - Silky soft tannins immediately after popping the cork. The tart acidity of the Syrah is noticeable, but doesn't overwhelm the plummy chocolate of the Cab Sauv. A very subtle nose is belied by the power of this wine on the tongue, with a strong, lingering and pleasing finish. Might benefit from additional cellaring, but is ripe for the taking right now.
