Spice and dark fruits... lovely fruit in the bouquet as well as taste. Tannins nicely integrated. I don't see this improving, but likely drinking nicely for a few years. Delicious!!!

A lot of power, but possibly still a big young The wine looks Garnet colored. It smells like Black Pepper, and Black currant (cassis). The body is Full. The wine has Satin-like texture. The wine finishes Long.

Silky soft tannins immediately after popping the cork. The tart acidity of the Syrah is noticeable, but doesn't overwhelm the plummy chocolate of the Cab Sauv. A very subtle nose is belied by the power of this wine on the tongue, with a strong, lingering and pleasing finish. Might benefit from additional cellaring, but is ripe for the taking right now.
