Monday, February 11, 2013 - Drank from bottle on day of bottling. Dark red/purple in the glass with translucent rim. Nose of dark ripe fruit, alcohol, earth. Medium bodied, hot, ripe sweet dark red fruit, bit of spice, slightly tannic on the medium length finish.

On the second day, nose opened up a bit more. Sweetness is more apparent.
