Friday, March 8, 2013 - Popped and poured, tasted double blind. This would have needed a decant. Initially quite reticent on the nose, but after a couple of hours opened up to show beautiful rose petals, lingonberries, meaty tones. The palate was dominated by tannins, but had an elegant feel to it, cranberry, a bit of earth. This was a very nice wine, which definitely needs more time in the cellar.
