Friday, April 19, 2013 - This wine had a perfumed nose of spicy red fruit, orange peel, rose petals and earth/black dirt with the red fruits and spice rounding out the palate. On day 2, the red fruit was darker, primarily featuring cherry. Overall, this was a very approachable, lovely wine from the first glass and a perfect complement to spaghetti with ragù.
