Thursday, May 2, 2013 - A real mouthful. I broke out a magnum for a special occasion knowing it should probably sit for another 5 years, but after an hour or so it opened up and was fabulous. Rich and velvety texture, with lots of dark read fruit but also muscle and tannins and some spice. There's something wild and a little gamy (as in game-y, not gamay) in there. A masculine Châteauneuf. Love it. Wish I had more.
