Light cherry red in color...the nose was explosive, red cherry, pomegranate, clove, cinnamon, tilled soil, rose petals...palate confirmed nose, very silky, focused, everything in harmony, no heat (12.5%), amazing mid palate minerality, long finish. It's hard to say any wine is a bargain @ $80, especially a Bourgogne, but if it can be, this is it!
