Thursday, August 1, 2013 - Light ruby, not perfect clarity. Wonderful mature nose of dill, light red fruit and real perfume. Medium weight. At once both soft and possessing a good acidic core. If I had to guess, significant percentage of Merlot in the cepage-certainly not a strict Pauillac type structure. Elegant, fully developed yet vigorous and gently ripe. No hint of heat or overripeness. What a treat.
