90 Points

Monday, August 5, 2013 - Burnt, amber orange appearance. The nose is redolent with orange marmalade and notes of dried apricots, ripe mangoes, florals, and orange zest. It's on the lighter side of viscous, sporting a crunchy texture, agreeable acidity, adequate complexity, and a streak of minerality that crescendos from mid-palate through the orange zest finish. Sweet, but not cloying, the fruit masks the alcohol (15%) making it easy to finish a half-bottle. Had it on its own but this would be a perfect match for cheesecake.
