Friday, August 9, 2013 - I have only drunk older Beaucastel CdP that showed all kinds of secondary changes. This is still young and a bit primary, nose of pepper, menthol, dark fruit. Taste directly after opening was a bit tight showing some harsh edges, later on these completely dissapeared and the wine opened up: beautiful black fruit, concentrated, velvety, integrated tannins, good acidity. Long finish.
