Wednesday, September 11, 2013 - pnp. Had at a restaurant with lasagna. Pale ruby. Sour cherry, some liquorice and spice and some vegetal notes on the finish. Medium minus acidity, medium tannins and short finish. A very dull wine that I didn't really enjoy at all. I thought that it just needed time to open up but even after an hour there wasn't much improvement and it tasted like red water. I don't see this improving and if anything I suppose decant it to see if it opens up after a few hours.
