Sunday, May 1, 2005 - Tasted at the 02 Affinity release. Brilliant,med garnet. Wonderful intense notes of blackberry, creamy cassis, sweet cedar, earth tones. On the palate, med-full body, blackberries, dk cherries, creme de cassis, cedar, luscious coarse tannins, firm acidity, well balanced and with a good degree of complexity. Finishing long(35 sec +) with dark fruit, firm grip of tannins, and firm acidity. The best Affinity since 97.
