Sunday, November 17, 2013 - I am not a big fan of Silver Oak Alexander valley. I love Napa cabs, but this does not do anything for me(consistent with other bottles) It's either past it's prime, I didn't give it enough air, or just not that good. I'll go with the third choice. It tastes tannic, a little sour, and the fruit is hidden. I think the higher ratings must be influenced by the name.
