Friday, November 22, 2013 - Deep, dark, mature garnet in color with ever slight bricking at the edges. Fragrant, attractive & mature nose of ripe red fruits of cherries, berries & cassis with leather & earthy overtones, herbs, some cedar, black tea, mint, cocoa, licorice, spices, minerals and a hint of vanilla in the background. Full bodied of mature, smooth and a good concentration of ripe red fruit flavors of cherries, cranberries & strawberries with herbs, minty, mocha, spices, earthy, some minerals and a touch of vanilla. Lingering silky smooth finish. Presently at its peak but has the structure to last for several more years before fading. A blend of 70% Cabernet Sauvignon & 30% Merlot.
