Friday, December 6, 2013 - On the nose: stewed fruit, leather, sweet jam like (especially strawberry and blueberry).
On the palate a flavor profile with smooth and rounded tannins, initially filling the palate with strawberry and raspberry fruit and finishing with a strong sense that this wine has structure. That being said the mid-palate is somewhat hollow and while there is power in the finish there is a distinct lack of deliciousness that would put this over the top.
