Wednesday, March 26, 2014 - 2013 editon of En Primeur - Kelly and Kevin’s excellent adventure; 3/26/2014-4/1/2014 (Mostly in Bordeaux and a night in Paris): I am a big fan of Coche and this Alogote shows why. Fully mature but still very fresh, wet stone, oyster liquid, oyster shell, rain water, flint, white fruits, caramel and banana bubble gum. Medium concentration, relatively simple fresh white fruit driven palate impression, strong expression of mineral that gives the wine lovely complexity, good acidity and lovely seamless clean finish. I really liked this Aligote.
