Friday, May 30, 2014 - Lighter ruby. Brambly red fruit and earth. Light weight, tart red/black fruit, anise, and enough flesh to balance the strong acidity and vein of soil. Like a "Savigny light". I was struck by how much better balanced this was than a 2008 Gouges Premier Cru that I had last night.
