Friday, July 18, 2014 - Medium plus intensity aromas of cherry, black berry, thick and rambunctious nose, leather, farmyard (but not dirty) and herbaceous notes. In the mouth the wine has flavours of red berry , black pepper, slight herbaceous notes, chewy, thick, rich and the alcohol feels quite high lending a cooling note on the back of the palate but not particularly jarring or dominant. It needs so much more time.
