Tuesday, July 29, 2014 - This wine is dense colored and garnet in the glass with ruby to the edge. This wine is nearly opaque and clear. The smells are blackberry, stone, damp earth, tar, and anise. The tastes are cherry, pepper, brushy notes, exotic spice, stony, blackberry, red licorice, and provençal herbs. The acidity is notable and the tannins are dry and satin like.
