85 Points

Friday, August 28, 2015 - revisit one year later: same purple velvet color; abundant cherry and oak aroma; medium-bodied mouth feel, green pepper taste, medium-length finish with chocolate spice tannins; overall: better -- more balanced, less awkward and chalky -- and not yet at its peak

8/10/14 - 82 pts - color: purple velvet; nose: abundant dark cherry and a touch of earthiness; taste: medium-to-full bodied mouth feel, rounded green-tinged fruit taste, medium-length peppery green finish with some chalkiness; overall: interesting, aromatic Old World juice with lots of stuffing, but still immature, awkward, and tight -- its best days are ahead
