Friday, August 15, 2014 - Haven't tasted this in about a year, so it was about time to pop another bottle. Medium straw Color, pretty thick viscosity. Very beautiful nose of citrus, popcorn, butter, some sweet spices (vanilla), and some ripe pear. On the palate there is also a little bit of minerality. It's medium-full bodied and dense, but without being heavy. There is medium+ acidity providing a lot of freshness to the fuller body. Very good length, there is also a touch of bitterness on the finish, but it only adds further complexity. A fantastic Cali Chardonnay with a still realistic price tag.
