Tuesday, August 21, 2007 - A distinctive Syrah nose with pepper and blackberry, along with smoky leather. Less fruit up front than most Santa Ynez Syrahs, creamy blackberry followed by pepper and leather, a pleasant,tart finish. Definitely on the old world side, good with grilled meat. Well made wine that should age well over the next few years.
