Monday, October 6, 2014 - Still looks very young - an attractive, semi-translucent magenta in color, right up to the edge of the glass. Has a very pretty Bordeaux nose of crushed dark berries, earth, leather and spice. Medium-to-full bodied, but there's not much depth or intensity to its ripe plum and blackberry fruit. Nicely balanced, with a moderate acidity and just a touch of oak, but noticeably hollow on the mid-palate and not particularly long on the finish. A simple, straightforward Haut-Medoc.
