Saturday, October 11, 2014 - Drank over 3 hours. My first 2011 DRC. A very forward nose of freshly cut grass, dark fruit, black pepper and a touch of wet stone. Initially this was very thin on the palate, but this really filled out in the last hour. I should have saved some for day two. Noticable green notes on the palate, pine, stems, and loads of spice. Fresh and vibrant. I am curious to see where this goes.
