Saturday, November 22, 2014 - Different from previous bottles, with considerably more age in appearance and nose. Burgundy with hints of dried blood; medium body. Nose of black fruits with some wet wool, slightly dusty. Tastes of good blackcurrant and blackberry juice; chewy with some sour cherry fruits. Some blueberries, increasing towards the finish with a sour, spirity, spicy finish. Perhaps drying out, but better balance of tannins and spicy fruits than expected.
