Monday, November 24, 2014 - A bit past its prime perhaps although not at all old by any means. Beautifully red fruity with considerable length, but much more earthiness seems to be creeping in. Just maybe, and that is all it is, reflects how the tannins in Chianti (Sangiovese) evolve and what that imparts to the wine.
