Tuesday, November 18, 2014 - Dim Sum Club at Royal Pavilion (Royal Pavilion, Park Regis Hotel, Singapore): I have not had a good old Aussie Shiraz for some time, and this really hit the spot. It had a beautiful nose, with sweet blueberries and gentle floral notes seasoned with peppery spice and minty eucalyptus notes. The palate was all soft and velvety, with a gentle infusion of spice nestling amidst ripe blueberries and boysenberry flavours. Little notes of eucalyptus and mint and nice earthy shades carried the wine into a nicely balanced finished. This was drinking beautifully well. Very yummy.
