Tuesday, December 23, 2014 - The wine is clear and bright with a deep garnet colour. The nose is clean and developing, showing pronounced intensity aromas of oak (vanilla, coconut, chocolate, cinnamon), black fruit (blackberries jam), fruit development (cooked dark cherries), pungent spices (black pepper) and bottle ageing (truffles). The wine is dry in the mouth with a medium acidity. It has medium(+) fine-grained tannins and a high alcohol. It has a full body and pronounced intensity flavours of oak (vanilla, coconut, chocolate, cinnamon), black fruit (blackberries jam), fruit development (cooked dark cherries), pungent spices (black pepper) and bottle ageing (truffles). The finish is long.

It is an outstanding quality wine. It has a really pronounced flavour concentration that balance very well the high alcohol with the polished tannins adding some support. The finish is lingering and the wine shows aromatic complexity provided by oak and bottle ageing.

Can drink now, but it has potential to continue developing tertiary aromas over the next 6-8 years.
