Friday, January 2, 2015 - From memory: New Years Eve. Tremendous wine – lots of black fruit, leather, barnyard and exotic spices. Has improved substantially since I first had it over two years ago. The oak has integrated nicely and the massive primary fruit settled down somewhat ensuring a more nuanced and harmonious palate. Still pretty muscular, but far from overdone. Has enough stuffing to last for at least another 10 years, and will probably improve during the next five (93-94 points).
