95 Points

Friday, July 12, 2013 - The Cliff Edge Shiraz has to be one of the most consistent labels i've tasted over the last few years, the wine punches well above it's price point and is my go to wine.

The 2010 is a deep red in colour, it opens with a stalky plum laden nose with depth and savouriness that has a floral, almost pinot like elegance.

A medium bodied palate with plum, a touch of blackberry and black pepper is supported by rounded oak, subtle spices and textural savoury tannins add complexity.

The finish matches drying tannins with sweeter vanillin oak and purity of fruit, a stellar wine from the Grampians.
