Tuesday, February 10, 2015 - The cork on this bottle disintegrated. Upon tasting it was spoiled. I put the bottle aside and we drank some other wine and just for yucks I tasted again 3 hours later. Drinkable and quite nice. Not sure what's going on here, certainly not the cork as they never recover. I bought 6 bottles of this with a friend and he pulled the corks on his 3 and tossed it all based on first taste. I would have to but happened to taste later. Not a classic brunello especially on the nose. A very musty, leathery nose, but very pleasant on the palate.
